Inspiration Design is a full service design company, serving clients on projects from modest-budget remodels to complex new home construction.  We love transforming our clients’ existing homes into the spaces of their dreams, or starting from land and a clean sheet of paper.

Principal Designer Kelly Posacki has more than 20 years of experience in real estate, home design, and construction, and works with both local Utah-based clients and remote clients across the country via our e-Design services.  Our focus is client experience by simplifying and adding value at each step of your design process.

We work with you to provide only the set of services you truly need. Are you working with an architect and need advice on how your interior space should flow? We create floorplans and work with your architect to optimize your space. Just need to refresh your furniture and accessories? Using our many national vendor accounts, we can source furniture for you at better than retail prices. We are here to add value at each step and help you achieve your ideal space.

1. Get to Know You

This is the most important stage for us.  We need to understand who you are and what you love, so your home reflects you!  We will work within the budget you decide and create a plan we can execute together.

2. Design Planning

This interactive development phase is where we create and deliver a design plan for your space. Our digital presentation will include floorplans, inspiration images, and ideas to communicate your best go-forward plan.  We will review all of your best options before moving on to the detailed design.

3. Detailed Design Phase

We take the design plan that you are so excited about and add all of the detail needed to execute it, including floorplans, colors, materials, furniture and art.  We also incorporate any existing furniture you wish to keep in the new design.  We will iterate with you until you give the thumbs up to move forward on your ideal space.

4. Executing the Design

We work with the architect, builder, contractors and trades to deliver the best result to you. During this phase we are also ordering, procuring and receiving all of the items to make the design come to life.

5. Your Made-for-TV Moment

We love a great reveal!  We will install and prepare every detail of your project so you can have that moment of falling in love with your home all over again.  This is our favorite day because we love to see you happy!

We couldn’t have been happier with the mountain backdrop of this home, framed perfectly in the large slider doors.  We had so much fun hunting for reclaimed beams, unique lighting, and amazing furniture to accent the homeowner’s art and accessory collection.  We worked with Timberidge and so many great subcontractors to bring this vision to life and we love the cozy home that was the result.

Deer Canyon

How do you build a home worthy of the lake and mountain views?  You do as many windows and slider doors as you can in that direction.  The architect did just that and we tried to make the interior worthy of this.  The owner’s wine collection and love of entertaining friends motivated the dreamy wine storage, bar, and cozy great room, focused on luxury with mountain roots.

Valley View

From the architectural genius of The Highland Group, the exposed beams set the stage for the contemporary style.  So many spaces to love brought together with the builder, Watts Construction.  A favorite add was the combined sauna and shower with an ombre tile floor that transitions the materials from one space to another.  The lighting vendor also treated us with accent lighting inside the paneled art installation of a fireplace.  So much to love!

This condo was originally built in the 1960’s at the base of Park City Mountain. The client had a vision for her family vacation spot and we loved helping find the finishes with her to make it home. All 1400 sq ft were packed with glitz and glam. It is a wonderful retreat that feels like the perfect ski and golf getaway.
